The SSA Board is requesting public submissions for the Working Group membership applications and public evidence/corrections intake items listed below. Submissions must be sent by email (see each item for the applicable address and instructions). Please note the closing date for each comment period.

Public disclosure notice

Public evidence/corrections submissions may be posted publicly as part of SSA’s transparency and auditability practices. Do not include confidential, proprietary, or personally sensitive information that is not appropriate for public disclosure.

SSA will make reasonable efforts to minimize unnecessary exposure of personal contact details (for example, by using an attribution or anonymity preference where available). However, materials submitted for public intake may be shared publicly in whole or in part, including excerpts, citations, and verification notes, consistent with SSA policy.

By submitting materials, you grant SSA permission to store, reproduce, extract, translate, edit (for clarity/format), and publish or quote your submission in SSA reports, archives, and evidence indices, consistent with the Privacy & IP Summary.

Service levels (SLA) and status codes

    • Deferred (out of scope, security-sensitive, pending clarification, or responsible disclosure handling)

Security-sensitive submissions (Responsible Disclosure)

If your submission involves a vulnerability, exploit path, or security-sensitive operational details, do not include step-by-step exploit instructions. SSA may route the matter to a responsible disclosure channel and defer public publication to reduce real-world risk.

Privacy & IP Summary

SSA collects submitted information to administer Working Group participation and process evidence/corrections intake. Submissions may be retained for governance, audit, and transparency purposes. Do not submit leaked, stolen, confidential, or unlawfully obtained materials. By submitting forms/attachments, you grant SSA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, extract, translate, edit (for clarity/format), and publish or quote your submission consistent with SSA policy.

1) Purpose

SSA collects information submitted via Mandatory Forms to:

  • administer Working Group participation and governance auditability
  • manage conflicts of interest (COI) and recusal obligations
  • verify public submissions and maintain evidence/corrections records

2) Minimization & Publication

  • SSA uses reasonable safeguards and does not typically publish personal contact details unless you expressly consent.
  • If you select Anonymous or Internal Only (where permitted), SSA will follow that preference to the extent allowed by policy.
  • For transparency and auditability, SSA may retain submission text, citations/links, verification notes, and related correspondence.

3) Retention

SSA may retain submissions and related records for governance, audit, and transparency purposes. The latest retention and publication details are governed by the current policy posted on FedSSA.org.

4) Public & Lawful Sources Only

Do not submit leaked, stolen, confidential, or unlawfully obtained materials. SSA may reject such materials and take further action where appropriate.

5) IP & License

By submitting forms and attachments, you grant SSA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, extract, translate, and edit (for clarity/format), and to publish or quote your submission in SSA reports, archives, and evidence indices, subject to your attribution preference and SSA policy.
